Christmas Soul

In light of Christmas time- I want to share with you my fav five Christmas traditions- Shayna style.
1. Christmas Clothes
-Xmas colors may seem tacky to be wearing, but NO. You can take your fav Christmas colors and incorporate them in anything you want. Don’t forget- red and green ARENT your only options. You also have BLUE, gold, silver, browns, and ANYTHING with fur.

2. Christmas SHOES
In the winter time, there’s one word when it comes to shoes. BOOTS. Now that means of ALL varieties. Mix it up;)

3. Christmas FOOD
There’s TONS and TONS of Christmas recipes online right now, so hit up pinterest and find your favs and get to cooking!

4. Christmas DECOR
Decorating for Christmas is always fun. But you don’t just have to go with the traditional lights and tinsel. A cool idea I found was to fill up ballons with water and food coloring and freeze them. Once frozen cut off the balloon and you have cool marble like Xmas decorations for outside in the snow!

5. Christmas SOUL…
Go out, and GIVE. Give thanks, give a smile, a hug, a dollar. Give all you have for others this time of year. In fact. Look up ways or brainstorm more creative and fun ways to show love to others. Buy cheap gloves and go out and give a pair to the homeless. Go to the mission and volunteer.

Shaynas moving to Florida!

Aww, I knew this day would come eventually!– I am almost 19, and its time for me to go to college. I’ve lived in Tennessee/East Las Vegas my whole life so its surprising that I’m not moving TO east Las Vegas. I was born and raised in Nashville Tennessee but throughout my entire life I’ve also had residence in east las vegas Nevada, where my father works. So anyways even IM shocked that I’m moving to Tampa bay. I’m scheduled to make this move by the tenth of January. shaynas world is rocked to say the least. Hahaha. I’ll be attending school for Phlebotomy/Venipuncture for ten weeks and certainly spend a lot of time on the beach. I’m making this move because I am incredibly tired of the scene here, and sadly the people around here as well. I will miss my family like crazy but this is just too cool of an experience for me to stay here in tn on my ass. So wish me luck. Muah!

I’m Shayna, and this, is what gets under my gills.
An amazing example of what I’m really annoyed with today- is the TV show “here comes honey boo boo”. Reality shows about stupid ass shit, especially rednecks doing, well, what rednecks do. Putting their two cents into shit, AND they have to put captions because you can’t even understand them. Way to represent the south guys! You’re the laughing stock of America! Redneck reality TV…
And that’s what’s getting under my gills!

RELATIONSHIPS:

Have you ever noticed that putting a title on something fucks EVERYTHING UP? its called marrige. just kidding. its called a relationship, I GUESS. CALL IT WHAT YOU WANT, when you have feelings for someone, its LUST. if you have found LOVE, (patient, kind, does not envy, etc.) 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 then you have found God, and THAT is amazing, THAT is love, GOD IS LOVE. But thats not what im here to talk about (right now)…If you’re having problems with a relationship, whether youre gay, lesbian, straight, bisexual, WHATEVER, I believe its best for you to think, well THE BEST, you feel ‘love’ for this person for a reason, and its always easier to take the time to work on something together with the person you’re with than to start all over again with someone new, because you will always have problems, no matter who you’re with, and if its the need to feel something new, TRY something new with your partner, and no, not cheating, there are ENDLESS possibilities for a lifetime of new activities with someone and you should explore, and be spontaneous and adventureous in order to keep that fire you felt in the begenning burning. ;] ADVICE: Don’t ever be jealous, and if you are dont dare show it. you are one of a kind. all of us. and there is no need, to ever, ever, be jealous of another. for any reason.

so CHILL THE FUCK OUT, and SMILE, THERES NO TIME TO BE UNHAPPY!!!

Story of my life

I ride down the road, freestyling raps by myself in the car, to video taping myself singing dancing queen by ABBA while driving…I talk to myself almost constantly, even as i type right now. All i know is i am ME. and I am fascinated by people, and what they say, what they do, what they’re capable of, and how they choose to spend their time with their life. its quite interesting, just sitting back and observing, or going out, and..still observing. EVERYTHING is a state of mind. And you are capable of changing almost any situation to what you want it, occasionally with the risk of fucking everything up, but the success is amazing. however, ive never felt like i really have succeded (sp?) in anything really i just know. know. the word know has two meanings to me. 1. To know about, have knowledge of, (from a book, word of mouth etc.) and 2. To know from personal experience. I only know OF people who have risked almost everything for a dream. and not to be cheesy, but you do only live once. If you take anything out of this entire post that really makes no sense, well it does to me, if it makes sense to you, then ive accomplished something? for those of you who also feeel like my mind is everywhere like i do, just take this from what i say. YOU ARE CAPABLE OF ANYTHING. You control how you feel about things, and as hard as it may be sometimes, you CAN take something horrrible and look at it in a different way. you may not even want to, you have to admit to yourself, that you’re being stubborn sometimes, and you dont take your own advice. speaking of which thats my next point. right and wrong. you always know which is which, i mean really its common sense in almost any situation. And you know when you’re choosing wrong, and you do it anyways, because you want to. Try to work on that, ill try with you.
